Words are inadequate at conveying how special Lucy was to all of us. She had a sparkle in her eyes that brought joy to all who knew her. It was impossible to be lonely or sad when in the presence of her company. Lucy was a brilliant Aussie who never gave us a moment’s trouble, but rather gave us reasons to celebrate in her joy of living. She was extremely loyal and sweet and so much fun to be around. Everyone loved Lucy and she was always friendly and happy. Lucy considered everyone a friend and was fiercely loyal to her family. She would have been 13 on May 19. She lived a full life in Alaska and then spent her last few years in Colorado. We will always appreciate what a great dog she was and miss her terribly. A great sense of gratitude for having known her helps ease some of the sadness, but her absence will always be apparent
